Kelsey appreciates the recognition of its constructed product in the national publication of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Summer 2001. The Market Focus article is entitled "From Tourism to Technology" and it discusses the Orlando office and industrial markets. One of Kelsey's Cypress Park projects for developer Jones Lang LaSalle is pictured on page 54 - a 216,467 sq.ft. front-load warehouse/distribution facility with site improvements within a four-building, 459,000 sq.ft. complex in Southwest Orange County. Kelsey received some positive press regarding the completed SouthTrust Data Center project in Winter Park, FL. This 50,000 sq.ft. complete interior renovation included the diversion of 40,000 sq.ft. Kelsey recently participated in a community-building event for high school students in Central Florida's Osceola County. The students toured Millenia Lakes Office Building - Phase I, a six-story, 206,000 sq.ft. facility we currently have under construction. The students then took a written test on what they had learned that day and passed with flying colors. Osceola District Schools graciously presented Kelsey Construction, Inc. a Year 2001 Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of its positive attitude in working with young women studying nontraditional careers.

This award was presented to Orange County, FL for its Minority/Women Business Enterprise Construction Management Program, in recognition of the highly successful M/WBE Program and minority participation. Orange County received this award on behalf of the joint venture team's success in this area.
